dark days

The day the darkness came was simple doom
Feelings first sad, then depression and gloom
After one week in darkness, no sun in the Land
Despair was ruling, lots were killed by their own hand
It wasn't just twilight, the sky was pitch black
But what nobody knew, This was an attack

Demons were feasting, They loved all the fear
Disguised as Humans they would appear
Whisper in ears causing darkness in heart
The wicked way's where their own art

There was all but one person, who used his eyes
He was weak and lonely, but saw the disguise
He was the first, of the Order of Light
People that saw him called him a knight

He could spread light in people, gave them some hope
But attracted the demons, it was a small slope
He was in danger for creating the light the people desired
He was just one, and from running all tired

This is the story of the Eyes and the light
That helped us fight evil and gave us the sight
Some demons look old some look like kids
We don't question the light, heaven forbids

How should it end...Light or dark?
