Mighty Mother

I love my mother, which is clear
But I also feel a lot of fear
She is almighty that I swear
I’ll prove this to you, oh yeah, I'll share

"Is there something I can bring down?"
I was in the basement with a frown
I learned for history, a mighty test
My answer "The Roman empire would be the best"

I few moments later came the surprise
That’s when it started and I got wise
My textbook stated in big letters.
The empire came down for all the better
