Northern Lights

Aurora Borealis comes out and dances up in the sky
But no one actually does know why
I know the answer, and I want to share
I will tell this secret I had to bear

In the sky high up is where they dance
You have to see them at next chance
Like ripples in water, when you toss a stone
Is where they shine and where they shone


But next time have a closer look
To discover this, some time it took
In the waves of Northern light
There are little bodies, black and white


They swim through space from star to star
They move from close then back afar
I say they swim, you say they fly
but look at them, up in the sky


When they dive into the space
When they play and when they race
On waves of light is where they move
Look at the lights and see the proof


Their bodies shape makes it just clear
